Site HR Manager

This is a great opportunity as the lead HR role for a company based in East Somerset and south of Bath. The Site HR Manager will be responsible for a manufacturing site with a headcount of c.200 with the support of an HR Officer.

You will act as the first point of contact for all people related activities to the site, the General Manager and his management team. This is a broad HR generalist position with responsibility for all site HR activities. As such you will provide support to the development and delivery of the HR strategy, policies, processes and procedures, to include: employee engagement, coaching and developing the senior leadership team, employee and industrial relations, succession planning and performance management, HR administration, recruitment, HR management information and training.

My client is looking for a pro-active and self-starting HR Manager who has worked in a similar site based manufacturing environment. With strong knowledge of UK employment law you will have the ability to develop HR strategies, deliver change in a fast paced working environment and be able to work operationally. Alongside your broad HR generalist experience you will be able to build and manage relationships at a senior level, possess good business/financial acumen and have great communication skills.

This is a busy and hands-on/operationally led position that offers a lot of variety. Due to the nature of the business you will be expected to be based on site all week and working within a safe and secure environment. It is easily accessible and commutable from Bath, Shepton Mallet, Frome, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Street, Bristol and surrounding areas.
