The Talent Assistant will be a part of the Talent team, which currently comprises of 32 people split between Talent Resourcing, Talent Development and Talent Advisory functions. The company operates a one-team approach and you may be required to assist in other areas of the team, within the scope of your level and experience.

- All HR administration duties, including preparing and issuing contracts changes, confirmation of probations, family leave, and other documentation as required
- Maintaining and updating our HR database and ensuring that all trackers are accurate
- Processing invoices and payments and ordering flowers, long service awards, and other gifts
- Initiating PowerPoint presentations and drafting documentation
- Assisting in the ongoing review of our Talent policies and procedures
- Supporting across the team to deal with day to day queries
- Daily administration of our Talent Support inbox including:
- responding to queries
- actioning reference requests
- data entry and manipulation
- Supporting the other two Talent Advisory Assistants with general administration tasks as required
- Supporting process improvement activity across Talent Operations
- Any other duties as reasonably required
Profile
Must have:
- Previous HR experience
- Experience working within the legal sector is desirable but not essential
- Hands-on approach and willingness to help across a multi-site team
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent people skills (including influencing) - need to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
- Confident user of social media - including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Flexible and accommodating. On occasions there will be the need to work outside of office hours at events or to travel to our other UK offices.
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
