Join the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and you’ll help Great Britain work well. With the fascinating challenge of Brexit combining with our establishment of a new Building Safety Regulator, this is a pivotal time to become part of our mission. We’re now looking for two Resourcing Leads.

The roles

Working closely with HR Business Partners and heading up a team of resourcing professionals, you will operate collaboratively with work stream leads, external providers and stakeholders to advise on and influence the efficient approach to resourcing roles.

Your brief will be to ensure that all resourcing activities further HSE’s ambition to become a more diverse and inclusive employer, while ensuring compliance with employment law, HSE’s policies and the Civil Service Recruitment Principles.

We’ll look to you to:

• Deliver a quality recruitment service, setting, monitoring and achieving KPIs, improving value for money, time-to-hire and quality

• Manage our relationship with suppliers, bringing external best practice and innovative solutions to campaigns

• Work with business leads and HR Business partners as well as finance colleagues to forecast and plan recruitment demand, making sure HR has the appropriate resource in place to meet demand

• Provide expert recruitment advice to the business to deliver innovative and fit-for-purpose resourcing strategies and plans

• Use data, insight and evidence to continuously improve recruitment outcomes, refining and developing recruitment policy

• Lead the team to deliver and improve on the candidate and stakeholder experience, continually improving, upskilling and building capability in all aspects of resourcing

Your background

We’re looking for sound experience of delivering complex recruitment campaigns, plus:

• Initiative, decisiveness and the ability to deal with ambiguity and a demanding workload - applying your planning skills to deliver at pace and to deadlines

• Influencing, communication and all-round relationship-building skills

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively using a variety of media.

• The leadership skills to guide your team through challenging projects

• Experience of developing, improving a delivering an HR service in a changing environment.
