Do you have the ambition to play a key HR role in the growth of a hugely successful values driven North West based business with over six million customers?

If you're motivated by working alongside the leadership team of an award winning B2C and B2B organisation with a well-deserved reputation for customer excellence and which has ambitious expansion plans for the UK and Europe, then we're keen to talk further.

Our retained client is a hugely admired and respected online business which has experienced phenomenal growth and success since it started 20 years ago. Despite the obvious challenges of Covid, it has seen a strong upturn as customers buying habits change and has already proven itself to be a business emerging more profitable and stronger than ever.

The role of Senior People/HR Business Partner is a newly created one and one where you can make your mark and establish strong relationships with a talented, driven and tight-knit leadership team. They have the ambition and ability to take the organisation's retail activities from the UK and into Europe and beyond and are looking for a talented and commercial People/HR business partner to guide, support (and challenge)! along the way.

Your focus will be to align the Retail team's people strategies with the overall business strategy which is to innovate and grow UK and European market share swiftly. Commercially driven, you will build capability and growth through organisational design, development, effectiveness and engagement.

This is an entrepreneurial, achievement orientated, values-driven business, looking for a forward thinking analytical and insightful HR Business Partner with a proven hands-on attitude and adaptable approach. Excellent stakeholder and communication skills are a given, as is a sense of fun, intellectual curiosity, a brave approach to innovation and a desire to challenge the status quo and to be the best.

Experience of working in a multi-site retail or services related sector is desirable to quickly establish credibility with stakeholders.

As you'd expect, developing strong working relationships with the Retail leadership team is key so we anticipate the successful candidates wanting to spend 2-4 days per week in the North Manchester offices. The rest of working week is likely to be spent working from home.

If you feel you have the retail experience and personal attributes to make a success of this role then we'd love to hear from you.
