Our client is a well-respected professional service firm with a number of offices across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. They have been working hard over the last few years to improve their Career Pathways and as a result there is plenty of appetite across the business for Management and Leadership Development. They are currently looking for an experienced and credible L&D Manager / Specialist to play a pivotal role in designing, developing and delivering L&D initiatives to meet that demand.
Responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the L&D strategy and designing, developing and delivering a range of Business Skills and Management Training aimed at operational managers (on topics like Personal Effectiveness, Introduction to First Line Management, Wellbeing and Unconscious Bias).
- Ensuring that all L&D initiatives are aligned to career pathways
- Leading a small L&D team responsible for coordinating all L&D activity across the business and representing functional needs at a senior level.
- Identifying where and how digital learning solutions can work for the business and developing an effective on-line curriculum.
We are looking for candidates who are experienced and confident deliverers of training in a corporate setting. Our initial priority will be those candidates with L&D experience gained in partnerised businesses (legal, accountancy) and at the very least you will need to be experienced and confident deliverers of training in a formal (sometimes traditional) corporate environment. You must be able to prove experience as an all round L&D professional with experience across the whole of the Learning Cycle.
This is a high profile and challenging role where you will need to be confident working in partnership with Senior Business Leaders and using your experience, knowledge and credibility to influence their thinking. The right individual will find themselves able to make a quantifiable difference with a successful and ambitious business. This is a very hands on role across the whole of the learning cycle.
