An exciting opportunity has arisen within Bridge House Estates (BHE). BHE is a 900-year old historic charity, of which the City of London Corporation is Trustee. BHE’s role and value in London has remained integral over the years and today its primary purpose is to maintain and support five of London’s most iconic Thames Bridges and to deliver further impact through its charitable funding and activities, delivered by City Bridge Trust (CBT). Through CBT, approximately £25m is distributed each year aimed at improving the lives of the inhabitants of Greater London, by working to reduce inequality and foster stronger, more resilient and thriving communities.

Over the past two years, BHE has carried out an extensive Strategic Governance Review to look at how the governance of BHE could be enhanced to ultimately increase the impact and reach of the charity’s activities for the public benefit and to model good practice.

We are now looking for a suitable candidate to fill the 9-month fixed term position of HR Change Partner – BHE, to support the implementation phase of the review and identify the long-term resourcing needs of the charity.

You will have a good understanding of HR/employee relations matters, knowledge of charity sector best practice and excellent communication skills.

Closing date: 12 noon on 30 November 2020.

Interviews scheduled for Friday 4 and Monday 7 December 2020
