Flexible working on offer! This role is an ad hoc position, cover will be required for 1 week in every 8 weeks. Working alongside the training manager you will be supporting the apprentices to engage in Learning activities, adapt tasks for individuals and assist them to make progress. Duties will include: Supervise and support Apprentices ensuring their safety and access to learningHelp to support and overcome issues for those with learning needsSupport apprentices in all areas of literacy and help understanding of the subjectEstablish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.Encourage pupils to interact with others and develop positive relationships.Encourage pupils to act independently as appropriate. You will have :Appropriate knowledge of first aid, health and safety and construction (Highways) and its terminologyUnderstanding of Dyslexia and AutismAbility to speak and write clearlyAbility to relate to young adultsNVQ2 for Teaching Assistants or building up equivalent experienceFor further details please apply.
