Permanent Medical Secretary position based in Birmingham. A fabulous opportunity for an experienced Medical Secretary looking for their next opportunity.

Client Details

My client is a lovely GP Practice based in Birmingham with an opportunity for a new Medical Secretary to join their site.

Description

  • Diary management
  • Patient Services Coordination
  • Answering phone calls and arranging appointments
  • Writing letters or recording medical notes
  • Ensuring medical samples are properly labelled
  • Filing and typing up reports
  • To cover the admin and secretarial work within the practice, which will include referrals and online consultations.

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following;

  • Available to commute to Birmingham on a daily basis.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Secretary or has worked as an Assistant for a GP Practice prior.
  • Previous EMIS and Choose and Book program experience.
  • Able to handle confidential information.
  • Calm demeanour with excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Patient and excellent communication skills.
  • Great organisational skills.
  • Hard-worker with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Please note, a Basic DBS check will be required.

Job Offer

Negotiable salary.
