A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager to drive forward the EDI agenda and promote a culture of embracing equality and celebrating diversity.

Client Details

The client is an East Midlands based organisation within the Public Sector.

Description

The key responsibilities for the role are;

  • Implement and deliver the organisations Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy
  • Develop and implement EDI policies, initiatives and standards to ensure compliance with the latest legislation and best practice
  • Partner with L&D team to design and provide internal training to promote best practices across the organisation
  • Partner closely with the Recruitment team to ensure the organisation is running fair and inclusive recruitment campaigns
  • Partner closely with the Marketing and Communications team to increase awareness and understanding
  • External benchmarking
  • Attend events and webinars to network externally and keep up to date with D&I initiatives

Profile

The successful candidate will;

  • Be a specialist in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Have a proven track record of a minimum of 2 years operating in a similar role
  • Be an excellent communicator and comfortable delivering training and presentations etc.
  • Have experience working within a Public Sector or Not-for-Profit organisation
  • Be able to attend the office 2-3 days per week
  • Have a good network or willing to build up a good network with other D&I professionals externally
