An excellent opportunity to take on the role of HR Manager for a small but mighty not for profit organisation.

A strong background in Generalist HR is required for this varied role where your key responsibilities will be to oversee an HR team of 4, work on strategic projects including employee engagement and reward and recognition and represent HR as an integral part of the Senior Leadership team.

Description

Responsibilities:

Generalist remit including overseeing and responsible for HR, recruitment and payroll whilst contributing as an individual

Dealing with ER cases ranging from disciplinaries, timekeeping, absence, etc

Stakeholder management at all levels including at executive and director level including attending and presenting at regular management meetings

Effective management and leader of people (team of 4)

TUPE and redundancy consultation from design to implementation

Coaching the HR team and managers at all levels

Analysing trends and HR metrics

drafting policies and procedures

Profile

Strong generalist HR knowledge including a good understanding of employment law

Ability to lead on all HR projects and consultations - from design and implementation.

Commercial thinker able to contribute to projects around culture, organisational development, reward and recognition, employee engagement

Excellent communicator who can present business cases in written and verbal forms and influence and lead

Critical thinker who can analyse board papers and collate and present business cases at Board meetings

Adaptable and Flexible with lots of initiative

Complex problem solver

Excellent time management skill

Ability to lead effectively and process change management.

Ideally some level of CIPD qualification.

Job Offer

Benefits:

37.5 hour week, flexible start and finish time

Due to the people facing nature of this role you will need to be on site for a few days per week

27 days' holiday with the option to buy up to 5 more
