Ashley Kate HR & Finance are pleased to be partnering with a national business in the search for a HR Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
This successful client are thriving in the current climate and can offer the right candidate an opportunity to be part of a busy HR function supporting a head count of approx 700 with the opportunity to work in an autonomous role but as part of an inclusive HR team.
The HR Administrator will be based in Peak district site, splitting their time between that site and some occasional home working. So a location in Chesterfield and surrounding areas would be ideal! For this reason you will need to be a driver to be able to get to get to site.
The HR Administrator will play a vital role on site and the initial HR point of contact for any HR queries. The HR Administrator will manage a number of stakeholder relationships so you will need to be confident in character to guide and advise management on process.
This role covers all essential HR administration, including; processing new starters and leavers, drafting employment contracts, updating and maintaining our HR systems and files, responding to queries, managing and maintaining various employee information trackers, and liaising with Payroll, as well as acting as a point of contact for our colleagues in the business.
The right person will be accurate and proactive, have great attention to detail, and excellent organisation, prioritisation and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Experience of working in a unionised environment would be an advantage.
To be considered you will be a strong HR Administrator/Assistant/Advisor with experience working in a demanding and fast paced environment. Communication is key for this role, You will be a team player but have the ability to work autonomously and the confidence to manage senior management relationships. You will be working towards your CIPD, and be available to start in January
