Your new company
This public sector education organisation in Cardiff are expanding their already stellar HR team. This is an opportunity for you to work in a friendly and capable team, reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, with a future career path ahead of you. Based in new offices in Cardiff, with a current work from home policy and a future hybrid working policy. This organisation are going through a positive period of transformation and you will be part of the evolving HR service.


Your new role
The title of this role is HR Officer and is very similar to a HR Advisor in other organisations, you will help deliver HR services, manage ER casework and contribute to wider HR and OD projects . You will work with the HR Business Partners to support the business on people and OD matters whilst also maintaining high standards in the day-to-day HR service. You'll be a first point of call for HR queries in your business area and will help your colleagues deal with a range of aspects including sickness, absence, reporting, disciplinaries, recruitment, annual leave queries etc.


What you'll need to succeed

This is a role where your personality and communication skills can truly shine through. You'll be a competent HR Officer or Advisor with experience in handling various employee relations issues. You'll need employment law knowledge, you'll enjoy giving advice and guidance to employees but also know where to turn if you don't know the answer. You'll be CIPD qualified at least to Level 3. You must have worked in a HR role previously to be considered.


What you'll get in return
This is a permanent role with an organisation with a bright future. You'll receive a salary of between £26,000 and £28,000, 25 days A/L and a local government pension scheme.
