Quality Assurance Assistant/ Junior Technical Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, global FMCG brand based in Hemel Hempstead. They are currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Assistant/ Junior Technical Manager to start ASAP to cover maternity leave. Candidates will ideally have a background within FMCG, and have experience working closely with Retailers and their product specification process. Experience with complaints handling and analysis will also be desirable.

Client Details

The client is a market leader within the FMCG industry who provide products to major retailers on a global scale. They are currently looking for someone to join their Technical department as a Quality Assurance Assistant/ Junior Technical Manager on 6 month FTC covering maternity leave. The role has possibility for extension. Candidates must live locally to Hemel Hempstead as the role will require some office working.

Description

• Update QA database weekly for all complaints
• Liaise with site Quality for all complaints and feedback to the customer
• Keep customer specification systems up to date
• Work closely with internal and external customers to manage expectations
• Interact with internal customers and manage company expectations to customers in light of product changes and specifications
• Attend technical reviews with customers, discussing KPIs, Benchmarking, Surveillance Testing and Complaints analysis
• Keep up to date with customer specification systems
• Handle any complaints effectively and investigate where necessary

Profile

• Experience working closely/ within quality assurance
• Ideally experience working within FMCG
• Ideally technical experience within product specification
• Experience working within private label market
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate
