The role is full time and permanent based on site. You will be responsible for all HR and provide some payroll support in a stand alone capacity.
SME family run manufacturing business based in Huddersfield.
This is a brand new role for the business as they have significantly and successfully grown to around 180 employees and are looking for a HR Assistant to come in on a full time and permanent basis to look after all HR, handle queries and ensure the business has a HR presence.
You will support with all generalist aspects of HR; recruitment, training, policies, advising and ER. You will work closely with management and employees to ensure that HR is a key focus for the business. You will work closely with the fiance team and ensure that payroll is collated and checked.
You will report into the Head of Finance within the business and be responsible for all HR Administration and the full employee life cycle. The business do have a solicitor for any employment law advice that you may need.
- HR Generalist experience
- CIPD qualified is ideal, but not essential
- Ideally some experience working for an SME in a stand alone role, but again not essential
