This is a stand-alone HR Coordinator position for a close-knit team in a Retail company based in London. You will get involved with anything that comes up in HR from recruitment, on-boarding/off-boarding, reviewing policies and procedures and advising, through to additional admin and some ad hoc projects as required.

The ability to build relationships quickly and be approachable at all times is paramount.

Description

The HR Coordinator for this Retail company based in London will be responsible for the following:

  • Running the team with the manager
  • Training and developing of staff
  • Staff life cycle - from recruitment, on-boarding to exit interview
  • Handling HR issues
  • Working to improve employee relations
  • Preparing and reviewing documents related to employment and services
  • Liaising with payroll provider, pension provider, IT manager, HR consultant, solicitor
  • Implementing internal policies, regulations and staff handbook
  • Implementing the company induction process
  • Implementing performance appraisal process
  • Track holiday and sick records
  • General administration including facility maintenance of head office/retail stores
  • Assisting company's events (e.g. stock-take, sample sale, Christmas party)

Profile

The successful HR Coordinator will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous knowledge of working in an HR department
  • Knowledge in the fashion industry would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of human resources and employment law in the UK would be an advantage
  • Administration skills
  • Computer skills - MS Office
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work well with others in a small, close-knit team
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English with stakeholders at all levels
  • Integrity
  • Ability to perform tasks in a confidential manner at all times

Job Offer

This HR Coordinator position based in London is a permanent opportunity and will be remote based working for the time-being.

Hours 9.30am - 6.00pm, with flexibility on Fridays
Salary between £25,000 - £30,000k
21 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional 3 personal days per year
£200 staff allowance per season
