Description
Role of the Learning and Development Manager in London:
- Evaluate individual and organisational current and future development needs
- Develop competency models defining technical skills/ knowledge and specific capabilities required
- Together with regional HR, ensure implementation and maintenance of a consistent performance management system
- Develop career development programmes
- Provide advice/training to line managers on career development and available programs.
- Ensure managers are aware of the linkages between career development and other HR programs (i.e. learning & development, succession planning, etc.)
- Work with line managers to develop succession planning program & criteria
- Assist line managers with drawing up individualised training plans for employees
- Implement various learning methods
- Design and deliver courses, workshops and other training (in person or e-learning)
- Assess development plans and help employees with learning opportunities
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
Profile
Requirements for the role:
Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or a similar role
Current knowledge of blended learning and development methods
Blue collar experience
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
Experience in project management
Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
International organisation experience
