Description

Role of the Learning and Development Manager in London:

• Evaluate individual and organisational current and future development needs
• Develop competency models defining technical skills/ knowledge and specific capabilities required
• Together with regional HR, ensure implementation and maintenance of a consistent performance management system
• Develop career development programmes
• Provide advice/training to line managers on career development and available programs.
• Ensure managers are aware of the linkages between career development and other HR programs (i.e. learning & development, succession planning, etc.)
• Work with line managers to develop succession planning program & criteria
• Assist line managers with drawing up individualised training plans for employees
• Implement various learning methods
• Design and deliver courses, workshops and other training (in person or e-learning)
• Assess development plans and help employees with learning opportunities
• Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices

Profile

Requirements for the role:

Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or a similar role

Current knowledge of blended learning and development methods

Blue collar experience

Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices

Experience in project management

Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

International organisation experience
