About the company
Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a leading Professional Services company in their search for a HR Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the HR team, having complete responsibility for all transactional and delivery activities.
About the role
Due to a transformation project to streamline HR, this is a brand-new role to work directly with the Head of HR to Linde manage the HR team and provide commercial delivery of HR to the business.
The main duties will include –
Oversee key HR Processes including employee lifecycle and associated employee relations matters from start to end, payroll liaison, benefits activities, performance management, reward and salary review
Work with the Heads of HR & L&D on the execution of the People Strategy, project managing assignments within the team that stem from the strategy
Collaborate with L&D and Early Talent Managers to provide a seamless service to our business.
Support and collaborate with Head of HR on wider initiatives, such as Wellbeing and Inclusion.
Presentation to business People Leaders and People Executive board on operational and strategic initiatives as required.
Support with the collation and analysis of strategic and regular management information.
To itinually review all HR operations and processes to assess whether they are fit for purpose, and aligned to best practice.
To be suitable for this role you will need to possess the following skills/experience –
At least 10 years HR Management experience (Essential)
Extensive experience working within the Professional Services industry (ideally Law or Accountancy)
Experience of working within a partnership environment.
Excellent working knowledge of employment law with the ability to apply it practically and commercially to workplace situations.
Excellent understanding of HR best practice and ability to apply this to employee relations cases.
Experience of leading on organisational change projects including restructures and redundancies.
Experience of assisting with salary review processes.
Experience of formal report writing.
Credible and competent in dealing with difficult situations.
Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
Good facilitation and mediation skills.
