Your new company
A family owned food manufacturer based in a beautiful, remote, rural part of Mid-West Wales just 30 mins from the coast in beautiful surroundings. This job is based in north Carmarthenshire. The organisation is a national one with multiple sites across the UK and an award winning reputation for quality. This is a role based on a single site, reporting to the Operations Director and a dotted line to a HR Director off-site. Are you seeking a HR Manager role in a fast paced Manufacturing environment - this is a fantastic opportunity.

Your new role
There is a production team of around 400 staff that work in various shifts at the site. You will manage a team of 4 in the HR department who are involved in all aspects of engagement, recruitment, talent planning, employee relations, training, leadership development, performance and reward. This is a leadership role within the business and you will work with a fantastic site operations director who has over 20 years experience in the industry and is fully committed to the value that HR leadership can bring to the operation. This is a fast paced and tough rural industry but there is a fabulous team who work well together towards common goals.


What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for an experienced HR Manager or equivalent who is CIPD qualified with a minimum of Level 5 but more importantly has experience across the areas listed above. Essentially someone who is comfortable with the HR remit in a production environment. You'll be confident and comfortable working with staff at all levels, including guiding senior leadership and collaborating with colleagues across the business. You'll be an HR expert with good knowledge of employment law and a proactive approach to your career development.
