Head of People & Talent Acquisition

I am really excited to be supporting a fast growth tech start up in the sports industry with their search for a Head of People & Talent Acquisition.

This is a great opportunity to join the business in a key strategic role as it scales. With a headcount of c.15 currently, they already have over 15 live roles approved to double in size this year.

You will be joining the business as their first HR professional and to start with there will be a focus on Recruitment. You will define the recruitment process and manage this end to end from talent attraction to interviewing, offer and onboarding. You will need to be able to assess both technical and cultural fit for the business.

You will then focus on building the HR function including introducing policies and procedures, onboarding and performance processes and talent development plans. This is a data driven organisation, so you will need to be confident using data & technology effectively, using automation wherever possible.

The business are looking for a brilliant HR generalist who is particularly confident in recruitment. This is a non-corporate environment and the organisation are looking for an energetic individual who has previously worked in a start up/scale up environment who understands how to recruit at speed. As with most start ups you will need to be prepared to work hard and be comfortable rolling your sleeves up!

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with great attention to detail and will be very comfortable working at pace.
