Learning and Development Lead (Capabilities & Academies)
Contract: 2 Year fixed term contract

Introducing the new Organisational Development Team!

Aligning global learning and development 
We are looking for an innovative Learning and Development Lead to join our new Organisational Development Team, to develop and grow this new role and a new enterprise initiative.

Creation and development of Academies / Centres of Excellence
With a specific focus on developing the organisational core, technical and emerging capabilities through the implementation of Academies / Centres of Excellence, you will be accountable for taking a blueprint strategy, and turning it into reality.  

Pathway, Product & Programme Design
With an agile approach, you’ll design initiatives that encourage our people to take ownership of their own learning, providing a range of different options, resources and experiences that support the 70:20:10 model. Developing ‘at the point of need’ learning – digital solutions, books, videos, webinars, toolkits, you’ll have demonstrable experience designing impactful learning and development interventions which deliver long term behavioural change.

One size won’t fit all

You will have proven relationship building skills with the ability to influence and gain trust at all levels. The organisation is undergoing unprecedented Change and there’s more ahead, and we are looking for a natural collaborator who will demonstrate insight and empathy.  With a working style preference characterised by commitment and motivation, you will be able to maintain personal effectiveness in the face of pressure or when dealing with challenging situations.

A bit about you
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has, or is ready to move into, develop and grow a role that doesn’t currently exist. You will already be skilled in the field of Learning and Development, preferably both formally and through experience and it is essential that you have hands on experience in the development of organisational capability, through implementation and/or development of Academies/Centres of Excellence/Communities of Practice. You are able to build credibility quickly and partner with multiple stakeholders from entry level to Executive Board. Already a role model in self-directed, digital and social learning you will be experienced in presenting, facilitating and coaching to a global audience.
