If 2021 is the year you're planning on securing a new Head of Reward role and the chance to work in the sector which everyone is talking about appeals, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Our client is a high-profile, innovative leader in the senior care sector providing quality, luxury, residential and nursing care services for almost 3,500 older people in beautiful care homes across England and Wales.

They are consistently (95%) rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and in such a people-focussed business, these excellent ratings can only be achieved by an organisation which recruits, develops, rewards and retains the best and most highly engaged talent. This is where you come in!

Employees are given the opportunity to follow their ambitions and develop their skills and the organisation takes pride in giving everyone the chance to build their career in the best environment, with over 90% of team members saying "they are proud to be associated with us", and that "their work gives them a sense of personal accomplishment".

With an excellent leadership team already in place, this is an exciting time to join and be part of a senior HR leadership team who are creating and delivering a people strategy to achieve its business objectives.

Reporting into the HR Director, the essence of the new role is to provide strategic oversight and delivery for pay, reward, benefits, pensions, Ts and Cs, policies and processes, performance and engagement strategies.

Strong candidates will have previously led/played a key role in reward in an organisation which employs colleagues within multi-site or retail environments such as hotels and hospitality, customer service/care homes or similar sectors where "customer" service is key.

From a personal perspective, we're looking for the best. Successful candidates will be proactive, positive, impactful individuals with high levels of emotional intelligence, strong analytical skills and intellectual rigour. Pragmatism and collaboration are valued here and everyone strives to be and do their best.

As you'd expect, our client is currently working in a very flexible way, with working from home being the norm. In due course, when F2F meetings become more frequent (!) then the ideal candidate will need to be able to be based in the North West (where some of the Senior Leadership team are based) a couple of days a week.

If this sounds like you and you're up for a new challenge, where your expertise will directly impact positively on the lives of thousands of residents, then we're keen to hear from you.
