Oakleaf are proud to be partnering a global energy company in their search for a new Head of HR. The role will work closely with the leadership team to help create the People strategy for the company and work with the wider Management team to implement it. This role is both strategic and functional so candidates from a business partnering background are encouraged to apply. The ability to speak French is essential and the ability to speak Portuguese also is desirable.
The Head if HR will work closely with senior stakeholders in several territories to make sure that the company is compliant is Employment Law as well as implementing HR best practice. As most sites are based in African territories previous experience working in this environment is essential. The role will be based at the company headquarters in central London but there will be the opportunity to travel when required.
Candidates who can offer experience supporting a company's CSR/ESG strategy or have an interest in this area are particularly welcome.
The successful candidate will be:
* An experienced and qualified HR professional
* Experienced working in Africa or have lived in Africa
* Bi-lingual in English and French, and ideally offer Portuguese
* A confident HR Business Partner to senior stakeholders
* A functional HR professional as well as a HR strategist
