An exciting, developing, and fast paced organisation have approached Hays Human Resources seeking a skilled HR Manager to join their organisation based in East Lancashire. This fantastic permanent opportunity it a true HR generalist opportunity within a growing and progressive manufacturing business. With major investment in their online business this organisation is set to double both size and profitability within a 4 year period. You will be joining an organisation with big aspirations for growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a truly progressive HR professional with an appetite to add value.

Your new role

Deliver and support organisational change by creating, updating, and implementing new policies and procedures.
Responsible for the company's Visa Licence and Visa sponsorship process.
Train line managers on employee relations and HR best practice for all UK and international sites.
Provide a full range of generalist HR support, ranging from employment relations, recruitment, HR System improvement, compensation, and benefits.
Respond to daily queries from Managers and staff.
Support the people partner with the delivery of projects such as implementing a High-Performance Culture, Well-being and Diversity & Inclusion.
Support the full recruitment process, which includes writing job descriptions, preparing interview questions and supporting the Hiring Manager.
Build effective, positive, and sustainable working relationships with all staff across the organisation.
Manage the HR & Payroll Apprentice.
Support the full payroll process, including processing, auditing, and general administration duties.
Produce the annual payroll statements.
Responsible for Management Information reporting and tracking and maintaining industry standard rates.


What you'll need to succeed

Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
Problem solving and analytical capability, comfortable with data.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Demonstrate high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
Proven track record of successfully supporting a fast-paced and high growth business.
FMCG experience is desirable but not essential.
Proven ability to make decisions that will support the business objectives.
Payroll experience (input only, 3rd party processes payroll)
Experience as a Visa Authorising Officer is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to professionally challenge opinions when required. Excellent organisational skills and ability to adapt to change.
Exposure to International Employment Law is desirable but not essential.
Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
