I am working in partnership with a forward-thinking manufacturer based in Colchester. They have grown organically and by acquisition, with an ongoing appetite to be a global leader in their field.
Your new role
This is a busy, generalist HR Officer role. You will be responsible for the HR and payroll administration (liaising with the outsourced provider) for the Colchester site. These HR processes and projects may include any aspect of the employee life cycle such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, compensation and benefits and termination process. Should you be studying towards your CIPD the HR Manager will, in time, support you in broadening your HR experience.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an HR generalist with proven HR administration experience within a fast paced (manufacturing) environment. Your HR knowledge will include pay & benefits, recruitment and training & development. Your noteworthy organisational and administration skills, alongside a good attention to detail are essential for the role.
The ideal candidate will be confident in their decision making and have strong interpersonal and influencing skills. An excellent communicator, you will have a solutions-focused approach day-to-day and you will thrive in a busy role. With strong ethics and reliability, you will also be passionate about doing a job well and can anticipate issues before they arise, and deal with them accordingly.
