This immediate opportunity is now available to start, based in Chorley and to support the NHS. This is a key opportunity to work within a fast paced and changing environment due to the COVID pandemic.

Your new role

• To develop and lead implementation of the Trust's temporary staffing strategy
• To develop and lead an integrated temporary staffing function
• To operationally manage the temporary staffing function
• To streamline booking and payment processes to ensure maximum efficiency and cost reduction
• To ensure that the supply of staff from the temporary staffing bank is sufficient and able to meet the needs of services
• To advise senior managers about ways to reduce temporary staffing spend
• To manage external agency contracts associated with the supply of temporary staffing
• To provide reports to the Workforce Committee and Board of Directors on the use of temporary staffing
