Ashley Kate HR are working with a leading business on an 12 month Fixed Term Contract, HR Advisor position, working remotely.
You will be joining a team of HR professionals supporting a headcount of up to 400 staff both operational employees and corporate functions. You provide a proactive generalist Human Resources advisory service including employee relations, recruitment, organisational development, and TUPE exposure; whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all employment legislation.
HR Advisor - The role
You will need to be comfortable with all aspects of disciplinaries and grievances and also other areas of employment related issues. It will be your responsibility to pro actively manages cases from long term and short term absence through to more complex issues and also encourage management accountability.
You will need to be comfortable with HR systems and metrics and be able to collate and report these statistics to the HR Manager and wider Senior Management team.
You will need to have experience of working as part of a multi-site organisation previously.
People Advisor - About you
·Strong proven HR advisor background with strong UK employment Law knowledge
·HR Systems knowledge
·You must be comfortable working with varied ER casework
·Experienced in TUPE is essential
·Ability to work unsupervised, use initiative and manage your own diary
·Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships will be key.
