HR Manager - International Rail - London (Permanent)

An iconic international rail service are looking to recruit for an ambitious and credible HR Manager to join their team. This is a newly-created role where you will be solely focusing on the engineering population in London with all generalist HR activity.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing support across all aspects of the employee life-cycle and take overall accountability and responsibility for the day-to-day operational requirements. You will have ownership of the Engineering population and report into the Senior HR Business Partner. This is a true generalist role with a large employee and industrial relations element. You will be comfortable handling complex ER casework end to end (including Union engagement) as well as implementing policies and relevant HR project-work.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will be a strong HR generalist who is well-versed handling HR matters across the full employee life-cycle. You will be able to demonstrate your extensive ER experience and have engaged with Unions previously. It is essential that you have supported site-based / engineering populations previously. You will be comfortable working autonomously but equally work well within a dynamic and ambitious HR team.
