We are seeking an experienced HR Manager/HRBP to lead a small HR team in the delivery of a people plan.


Hays are proud to be supporting a great charitable organisation in Dorset to recruit an HR Manager//HR Business Partner to lead a HR & resourcing team. You will have a base in Dorchester and travel to a site near Bournemouth Airport.

Working closely with the HR Director and senior leadership team you will be delivering a 3 year people strategy, ensuring HR supports the new strategic direction for the organisation during an exciting period of growth.

For this reason, our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager / HRBP with ambition and drive to transform the people agenda and with the HRD, create a really strong Employer Value Proposition.

You will have the strength and resilience to lead a HR team of comprising HR Advisors, Talent Acquisition and Training rapidly developing its presence and influence in the charity and you will be prepared to take a hands-on approach. The HR Manager will also be a HR Business Partner to one region and will be based in Dorchester office for part of their week. Another key focus is talent acquisition.. They are seeking the HR Manager/BP to use creative style and innovative approach to come up with new talent ideas; to design eye-catching recruitment promotions and approach things differently with our internal and external attraction campaigns, whilst keeping true our culture and values.

You will need to have experience as an HR Manager or potentially as an HR Business Partner and a fast paced and agile approach

  • Experience of Talent Acquisition / recruitment strategies
  • Experience of Employer relations case work
  • Supervision / leadership of HR teams including HR Advisor/recruitment/training OR Capability to lead this team.
  • HR Generalist background
