Ashley Kate HR are pleased to be working with an established construction business on a HR assistant position. This is very much a transactional HR support position so you must be comfortable with all aspects of HR Administration through to being the first point of contact for all managers, dealing with general queries, this will also include travel across the midlands to various sites to liaise directly with site managers.
As part of the HR team you will also be responsible for arranging occupational health support, looking after apprentices and the annual apprentice programme, you will arrange training and deal directly with the Health & Safety department.
You will also be happy to get involved in arranging events across the business as an when this activity is able to start up again.
The role will be temporarily split between working from home and the office.
HR Assistant - About you:
You will have a proven HR generalist background
You will be happy to travel between sites at short notice
It is absolutely key that you are happy to provide both HR Advice and do the transactional administrative side.
Strong UK Employment knowledge is essential
CIPD Level 3 would be desirable but not essential.
