Job Details

This successful and well-known high-street brand is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join them on an initial 12-month contract, in a varied and exciting generalist role.

Working with and supporting the wider HR team, you will be the first point of contact within HR, covering any people related queries; providing general advice on conditions of employment, absence and performance management, flexible working, and grievances and disciplinaries, whilst supervising a HR Administrator with their day-to-day activities.

You will also be responsible for continuous improvements to HR systems, policies and processes, managing all starters / leavers and championing the Mental Health First Aider programme.

Suitable applicants will have experience of working in a similar, fast paced HR environment, with some exposure to Employee Relations case management and a solid understanding of Employment Law.

You will be hands on and used to working in a busy team environment, be adept at dealing with colleagues at all levels of seniority, have a strong systems acumen, with an ability to manage priorities and present information clearly, concisely and in a logical manner. You must also be flexible to meet the demands of the business.

This role is homebased with occasional travel to head office in Cirencester and comes with a generous remuneration package and scope to develop. If you are an experienced HR Assistant, HR Officer or HR Advisor, looking for a challenging role, please get in contact.

Henlee Resourcing is a specialist full service human resources recruitment consultancy operating across the South West, M3 / M4 / M5 corridors.

What Make Us Different

We have worked hard to integrate our business into the community we serve, because we believe that to deliver service excellence to our clients and candidates, we must have a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing HR professionals today. Through the CIPD events we support, host and sponsor, we have developed a strong network, and through our commitment to achieving a genuine match between candidate and role, we have cultivated the trust that wins us recommendations to fill vacancies and find new roles. We are genuinely invested in our candidate’s success, not only because our business depends on it, but because we recognise the difference we can make to someone’s life if we help them secure a new start, a big promotion, or the work-life balance that they’ve been dreaming of.
