Director of HR role within a small Not for Profit just outside central Birmingham. Opportunity for Senior HR professional to work for an organisation that truly makes a positive difference in the lives of young people.

Description
As Director of HR, you will be responsible for;
- Full operational and strategic management of the HR function, including managing the budget
- Contribute to the strategic and operational direction as the organisation as a whole
- Member of and HR partner for the Executive Leadership Team
- Embedding the values of the organisation into the HR team as well as the wider organisation
- Provide expert advice and guidance to SLT as well as people managers with HR related matters
- Ensure all systems and processes in place are fit for purpose and reflect the values of the organisation
- Development of the Reward and Recognition strategy to promote Employee engagement within the organisation and increase retention
- Develop effective recruitment, induction, onboarding processes and procedures
- Identify and implement Learning and Development strategy
- Uphold the organisations values at all times, maintaining professionalism and honesty throughout
- Identify and develop Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy for the organisation, to ensure they are an inclusive employer for all
Profile
The successful candidate will;
- Be CIPD Qualified or have an equivalent qualification/degree
- Be experienced in dealing with complex HR matters at a senior level
- Ability to manage entire HR function including budget
- Have comprehensive Employment Law Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to and understanding of the organisations culture and values
- Have a sound understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Have operated at a more strategic level in previous positions
- Creative thinker and emotionally intelligent
Job Offer
On offer for the successful candidate;
- Salary c. £50k
- 30 days holiday + bank holidays
- Employer contribution pension matched up to 8%
- Blended working approach - 3 days on site, 2 from home (or other offices)
- Office just outside central Birmingham
- 35 hours per week
