Interim HR Business Partner


Your new company

Are you a HR Business Partner? Are you able to consider an interim contract? Are you coming to the end of a current contract? Do you have strong employee relations experience and thrive in a fast paced environment?

This temporary/interim contract will be a minimum 3 month's with a possibility of a longer extension or a permanent contract.

Your new role

Identify people issues in partnership with line managers and support them with advice and expertise to resolve these matters, in relation to:

  • Absence Management
  • Disciplinary
  • Grievance Handling
  • Performance Management
  • Capability
  • Management of Change
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Provide advice and guidance to line managers in relation to Human Resource policies, National and Local Terms and Conditions.
  • Provide advice and guidance on pay, pensions and other elements of reward.
  • Support managers in relation to absence management via the development of appropriate policies, provision of advice, undertaking welfare visits, supporting managers within the formal stages of the absence management procedures and completion of individual and stress risk assessment.
  • Coach managers in relation to the disciplinary process and support them through the formal stages of the disciplinary process at the investigation and formal hearing stages.
  • Coach managers in relation to dealing with grievances and in developing constructive working relationships between line managers and staff.
  • Support the people aspects of organisational change and provide both transactional advice and transactional support on change management initiatives, departmental restructures, job design, redundancy, TUPE transfers.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum MCIPD qualified
Strong complex employee relations experience
Minimum 4 years HR experience
