Interim HR Officer, part time or full time
An interim HR officer role in a local Academy for 5 months supporting the HR Manager, paying up to £18ph doe.
Your new company
An Academy school near Dorking town centre. Due to HR workload, an interim HR Officer is required on a full or part time basis (5 short days) to support the HR Manager with ongoing workload. This role pays £13-£18 per hour depending on experience, subject to work pattern.
Your new role
You will support the HR Manager on site at a small Academy school with day to day HR queries and operations. You will utilise the HR documentation to support with ongoing projects and requirements. You will be the on site point of contact for staff to ensure that any queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently. You will lead on areas like absence management, reporting and inbox support, assisting the HR Manager with administration and support on more complex HR processes.
This role would suit someone looking for part time, or a reintroduction into the world of HR.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience working at HR Officer level or similar, preferably in an education focused environment, though this is not essential. You will be resilient and autonomous in an environment where being outgoing and supportive is key. You will need to drive, as the Academy is not close to public transport links. A previous Enhanced DBS is advantageous, but not necessary, though you will require a check to fulfil this role.
What you'll get in return
Flexible working options, with anything from 5 half days to 5 full days, depending on your preference. You will receive £13-£18 per hour, depending on experience and work pattern within the total weekly allowance.
