Currently recruiting a People Services Manager for a permanent role, based in East Edinburgh for a private health & social care business.

Description
The postholder will ensure it runs efficiently, in line with regulatory and legal requirements, and is responsive to the operational needs of the organisation. This role will provide strong operational and strategic support in addition to professional advice and support to Directors and Managers on all aspects of relationship management and employment legislation. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing and promoting the people strategy, driving positive organisational change and influencing both people and culture in line with the organisation's wider strategy. This is an exciting new role which will be pivotal to the continued success and future growth of the organisation.Profile
Applicants should be qualified to at least CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) and have HR generalist experience along with up to date knowledge of employment law. The successful candidate will be organised, have strong attention to detail, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be computer literate with experience in using all Microsoft Office programmes. They should also be able to multi-task, effectively manage a team and work independently. The role will involve regular liaison with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels so excellent interpersonal skills are also required. Experience in the Health and Social Care sector is desirable but not essential.Job Offer
The applicant should be flexible in hours of work, when required by business need, and be prepared to travel to Care Homes across Scotland, as required. The successful applicant will therefore have a UK driving license and their own transport.Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pmReporting to: Board Director
