HR Advisor (Employee Relations)

Your new company

I am currently supporting a Local Government organisation based in North London with recruitment of a HR Advisor to join their Human Resources Advisory team on an Interim basis. The assignment is 3-6 months with a possibility of extension or going permanent.

Your new role

You will provide a professional, high quality and customer focused employee relations advisory service for the Organisation, fully reflecting the equal opportunity policies. Proactively influence and support services to improve employee relations. Support the development of managers in people management through coaching and HR training as appropriate. Contribute to HR policies and practice.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be available to start immediately or on 1 week notice

• At least 3 years' experience of working as a HR Advisor specialising in Employee Relations and Casework and knowledge and the understanding of current employment legislation
• Be able to demonstrate experience of working with customers on delivering solutions on both sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including absence management, performance, grievance, transformation and organisational change
• Demonstrable TUPE insourcing/outsourcing experience
• Considerable experience of working in Local Government or wider Public Sector type organisations

What you'll get in return

Due to current circumstances the role will be fully remote, however this might change in long term and you will be required to travel to the office.
