HR Advisor | 12 Month FTC | Up to £29,000

Dynamic and progressive housing organisation that provide housing services and facilities to vulnerable people across the Northwest with an excellent reputation for their services which make a real and positive impact upon their customers lives. The client invest heavily in their people teams and have a progressive HR focus, now seeking an experienced HR advisor to join their people team initially on a fixed term contract basis to help them achieve an effective service to the business and develop the people function.


Your new role
As an experienced HR advisor, in this role you work closely alongside the HRBP's to deliver an effective and pragmatic advisory service to the business maintaining and developing relationships across the organisation with continuous improvement focus. You'll provide support for line managers with Employee Relations issues and manage your cases with support from the HRBP's where required for escalation. You'll work collaboratively with the Health & Safety team for effective and proactive approach to occupational health taking ownership of the related administration. You will possess good working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice and also contribute to policy review and development , with an opportunity to support on wider people projects.

What you'll need to succeed
CIPD Level 5 Qualification
Experience Managing ER Casework
Excellent Employment Law Knowledge
Proven ability within a similar HR role
Proactive & Confident Approach
Ability to take ownership with a continuous improvement focus
Occupational Health Knowledge and experience
Solution focused problem solving capability
Union Experience Advantageous
Housing sector experience desirable
