An exciting job opportunity for a permanent People Manager/HR Manager, a brand new contract within an established, leading Distribution organisation, who are rapidly growing and developing.
Your new role
An excellent job opportunity for a permanent People Manager/ HR Manager, the role reports to the Regional Head of People, it is a stand alone, generalist HR role but you will be part of a wider HR team, so will suit someone who likes to work autonomously but likes to have a wider HR team for support and ideas and for opportunity for career development within the wider organisation.
Duties will include:
Support in delivering the annual people plan
Leading on employee engagement initiatives
Managing all ER cases from end-end, disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, performance management and flexible working.
Managing the end-end TUPE process
Sitting in on interviews for Team Leader and Manager roles and providing advise on recruitment and selection.
Assisting with the appraisal process
Managing all HR reporting and HR Administrative duties.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience as a People Manager/HR Manager, ideally within a manufacturing, distribution or logistics environment and ideally within a unionised environment.
You must have some experience of managing the end-end TUPE In process.
You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or equivalent.
