The Interim Head of Organisation Development and Learning will need to work very closely with the wider business to develop and implement strategy around OD and Learning.

Description

  • Create the roadmap for Learning and Development for the UK in the context of the business' network vision and mission and the UK strategic plan
  • Design, implement and embed the UK's OD and learning strategy within the global goals to ensuring that policies and procedures are in place
  • Lead on the global values roll out and implementation for the UK, creating a 'values in action' behavioural framework
  • Design and deliver a suite of learning and training and development workshops, including modular Management Development Programme
  • Conduct training needs analysis and meet organisational requirements by scheduling workshops and other learning interventions, liaising with third party suppliers to outsource some activities where require
  • Ensure training and development activity is delivered on budget by managing the training budget and providing timely information to the budget holder ( Executive Director of HR).
  • Review and improve the on-boarding process
  • Supporting the HR Business Partners with creating a coaching and mentoring culture across the organisation
  • Liaise with International colleagues to promote the e-learning campus
  • Evaluate learning activity to ensure learning is embedded and return on investment is quantified where possible

Profile

The sucsesful Interim Head of Organisation Development and Learning will need:

  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills - impactful
  • Adaptability - able to think, create, deliver and review - in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Skills in enabling cultural change at pace, ideally in both commercial and not for profit environments
  • The ability to think and work independently supporting the P&C team and the organisation to be the best they can be
  • Be able to shape, co-design and potentially deliver - with external partners as required - a suite of learning and development programmes
  • Skills in building impactful relationships and trust; approachability and gravitas
  • A coaching approach: knowledge transfer is key
  • Willingness to take a 'hands on' approach and make a difference at every level
  • Confidence in project management; the ability to deliver on time, on budget and to set up programmes that ensure benefits realisation; commercial thinking
  • IT literate, including experience of working with employee databases, Microsoft packages, eLearning platforms

Job Offer

£50k - £60k plus benefits - 18 month FTC
