The Digital Learning Coordinator will be expected to run the Digital Experience Insights surveys, promote LinkedIn Learning to students, contribute to a student digital support community and identify further areas for developing student digital literacies.

Description

Main Responsibilities of the Digital Learning Coordintor:

* Project management of small-scale digital literacies projects and work packages.

* Participating in the design, development and promotion of training and support materials

* Facilitating and evaluating group and one-to-one training sessions.

* Analysing data from the Digital Experience Insights surveys.

* Reporting on progress to the Digital Literacies Working Group.

* Sharing good practice and knowledge between Schools and other professional service areas by building effective relationships, communities of practice and communication channels.

* Keeping City staff and students up-to-date on project updates using LEaD's social media accounts.

* Keeping a watching brief on digital skills developments in the sector to provide expertise in this area. Attending user groups/events, signing up to mailing lists and keeping up-to-date on research and evaluation in this area

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

- Experience of supporting users with digital literacies

- Experience of providing advice and guidance on using technologies to develop digital literacies

- Experience of delivering training on a one-to-one or group basis.

- Experience of producing user documentation, training materials and written reports.

- Experience of project management, ideally within a higher education environment.

- Experience of staff management

- Experience in conducting small-scale evaluation/research projects (e.g. online surveys, focus groups)

- Experience of working in a higher education environment
