Ashley Kate are pleased to be supporting our client in King Cross area of London in their search for a Payroll & Systems Administrator to join their HR team.
The role is a new position for the clients business and is a full time permanent position which will be based at the offices in Kings Cross.
The new Payroll & Systems Administrator role offers lots of variety and you will need to be detail orientated, focused on accuracy and driven to drive improvements.
Reporting to the Head of Compensation & Benefits, but working cross sectionally with HR teams, Payroll teams and managers, this is a really varied role covering payroll data collection and validation, MI reporting, HRIS and employee benefits administration
The key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to;
Payroll Administration
Audit HRIS to ensure all employee lifecycle changes and necessary data are recorded in timely fashion ahead of payroll cut-off.
Liaise with Shared Services centre to communicate monthly employee updates for payroll and address any relevant enquiries in timely and accurate manner. This includes salary changes, benefit deductions, childcare vouchers, manual preparation of statutory leave pay calculation, new starters and leavers.
Check and reconcile payroll data against HRIS and monthly updates after 1st run to ensure accuracy.
Be a front facing contact for all employees on payroll & tax queries, dealing with sensitive matters in a prompt and professional manner.
Benefits Administration
Act as the first point of contact with employees to manage questions and queries
Maintain relationships with external benefit providers, alongside the Compensation and Benefits Manager.
Maintain membership of all benefit platforms, ensuring these are kept up to date (e.g. PMI, gym, discount platform, etc.) on monthly basis in line with deadlines; performing regular audits to ensure data is accurate.
HRIS systems
Conduct regular HRIS audits to ensure data is fit for purpose.
Support & empower People Team in use of HRIS.
Support employees in their initial queries, either resolving directly or working with Compensation & Benefits Manager and Global support to resolve.
Preparation of and validation of data loads into HRIS.
The Payroll & Systems Administrator will need 1 years' experience in a similar analytical role and understand how to produce manual calculations for pay, deductions, tax and check the HRIS for accuracy.
The role offers a salary up to £25,000. Short listed candidates will be expected to conduct an Excel test and manual calculations test as part of the interview process.
