Learning & Development Manager
Your new company
My client is a highly successful and well established manufacturing business who are about to deliver a record year of profits despite the challenges of the last 12 months. Following a restructure of their learning and development team, they now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Manager to join their team. You will be based out of their Shropshire head office 3 days per week, post Covid-19 with 2 days WFH flexibility.
Your new role
This role will ensure that my clients people development is well positioned to help realise its business strategy as they strive to be industry leading by delivering outstanding compliance learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, facilitating and managing the core development offering - this will be blended learning, focusing on 70,20,10 principles.
- Improving and managing our learning platform - including creating and curating content and ensuring the platform is utilised in the best way to drive accessible learning for all areas.
- Partnering with key functions in the business to understand their needs and designing and delivering a variety of learning solutions where appropriate - these could include team development sessions, creating toolkits or management skills.
- Managing and Leading a team
- Working on group led projects, executing delivery for the UK
- Reviewing data to ensure, utilisation, trends etc
You must have experience delivering training initiatives to non office based employees using creative and innovative platforms as this forms a key part of the position.
What you'll need to succeed
- Associated degree level education or equivalent
- In-depth understanding of all procedures within the discipline
- Learning & Development experience
- People Management experience
- Able to influence and build relationships
- Passionate about development
- Analytical and able to interpret data
What you'll get in return
The role attracts a salary of c£40,000-£45,000 plus 10% bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, life assurance and a generous pension of up to 8% matched contribution.
