Industry leading Pharma business seeking Benefits Specialist for a 1 year maternity cover!

Your new company
You will be working for a household name in Pharmaceuticals. You will be looking after the EMEA region and reporting into the Associate Director for International Benefits.

Your new role
As Senior Benefits Specialist you will represent the Benefits team as subject matter expert in EMEA benefits programs (e.g. health, retirement, time off, leave of absence, income protection, EAP, wellbeing programs, etc.). Support annual processes such as renewals and annual enrolments. Partner with other members of the Benefits team on international and global benefit projects from design to implementation including, but not limited to, acquisition integration and country expansion. Develop and execute communication plans for program launches or plan design changes including events, email campaigns and managing content on the benefit portals. Deliver high level of customer service to employees, colleagues and external vendors/partners by providing timely and accurate responses to requests and inquiries. Ensure offerings create an exceptional employee experience while seeking opportunities for efficiency and excellence at every step. Provide ongoing recommendations for improving and managing existing programs and to maintain the company's competitive position in the market. Manage vendor/carrier relationships. Directly manage, evaluate and measure program effectiveness with program vendors. Participate in the updating/completion of benefit surveys. Support benefits events, programs and wellbeing initiatives. Participate in any systems related implementations or enhancements that affect benefits systems, including user acceptance testing. Advise on industry trends through research and analysis in order to provide recommendations for changes. Ensure compliance with legislative updates, applicable laws and regulations.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience in international benefits. Have an understanding of employment and labour laws and regulations related to benefits design and administration. Ability to build strong relationships and credibility with stakeholders and key decision makers. Ability to work independently with limited direction. Solutions oriented, proactive and identifies new ways of working. Ability to flex through change and thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment. 5-7 years of relevant experience in an international benefits role.
