HR Officer 12 month contract job in Wakefield

A successful and growing organisation is recruiting to a HR Officer job role, to cover a period of maternity leave, to start soon after Easter.
Your new role
As Human Resources Officer you will provide a highly effective and confidential HR service to the organisation, You will lead the recruitment , selection and inductions processes for all staff across the group, as well as supporting the HR Manager with ER case management, providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on all policy and process details, managing your own low risk caseload.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have relevant HR experience, having worked in s similar HR Officer, Assistant or Advisor capacity previously and will ideally be working towards your CIPD Level 5. You will have a sound understanding of HR policies, procedures and UK employment law, and be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Please note this job is working on site full time and may involve some travel between local sites within the Wakefield area. They are easily commutable from Leeds, Barnsley and Huddersfield areas.
