The Role

This is an exciting time for AstreaHR!

We are recruiting HR Advisors to join our thriving team. Working as a key member in the Central HR team, you will provide a business-improvement focussed HR service to a regional client group of academies and corporate teams.

The successful post holders will be joining a HR team with tremendous potential to take Astrea to new heights of ‘Inspiring Beyond Measure’. Under the leadership of our Chief People Officer we are about to embark on the next phase of our journey and we require team members at HR Advisor level to join us and strengthen our flourishing team. We deliver at pace with the customer always in mind and you will need to be a highly skilled, responsive and experienced HR professional with a drive to make a difference in a complex, multi-site setting. Experience of the education sector is helpful but not essential - and don’t worry if you don’t have a CIPD qualification, we can support you through our apprenticeship levy fund to reach your full potential - what matters more to us is your determination, ambition and dedication to making a difference to our 2000+ people and ultimately 14000+ children in our portfolio of academies.

As well as providing dedicated support to a large and diverse client group, you will partner closely with senior leadership teams to build effective and sustainable relationships, develop a full understanding of their priorities in a local context, drive up standards and improve performance to meet our current HR KPIs.  Whilst working closely with your portfolio of schools and developing and upskilling the HR capabilities at school level, you will also have ongoing opportunity to develop and lead on high profile, Trust wide projects that are core to the successful implementation of our People Strategy.
