Job Title: Recruitment Business Partner

Location: Home-based but with some travel to Peterborough

Salary: Circa £45k per annum – may flex for a superstar

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract for 12 months initially

This business has a truly compelling story to tell and we are failing to find reasons why people would not want to work for them. This is an established business but in many respects, this will not be dissimilar to setting up from scratch in a greenfield site. You will genuinely get to help influence and develop how things are done. This will not be a boring role!

What will be keeping you busy?

With support from a Resourcing Advisor you will be the recruitment team. You will be responsible for setting the recruitment function up from scratch. That will include identifying partners and establishing a list of trusted and cost-effective recruitment agencies (like us!).

This is a period of serious growth for the organisation and they need to appoint into 54 newly created roles over the next year.

You will play key role in developing the employer brand and creating a first-class candidate experience for people that apply to the business.

You you will be expected to get as much value as possible from suppliers and source as many roles directly as is feasible. We often find that tighter budgets encourage creativity and this is why we are looking for someone that will be creative in their approach.

This role will have a real impact and you will be able to show a real return on investment in your hire very quickly.

Who are we looking for?

Ultimately we want a strategic talent acquisition specialist that is happy to roll their sleeves up and recruit. You will be an experienced recruiter with an ability to manage a number of roles at any one time. As well as this you will be someone that knows what best practice looks like when it comes to talent acquisition and you will be able to put processes in place that meet the business’ needs. You will write a sourcing strategy that helps the business to get the best talent into the business whilst providing great value and a reduction in recruitment spend.

Industry experience is not essential but we would like to see people that have experience of working in an operations environment. People that have worked in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Construction might fit well with this role but we are not hung up on sector experience. You should have a strong track record in the private sector with businesses of a reasonable level of magnitude though.

We really want someone that is passionate about what they do. This is a new role and you will be putting new processes in place and changing how things are done. Because of this we really want someone that can take colleagues (both blue and white collar workers) at all levels with them. You will be engaging, credible, professional and importantly good-humoured.
