Head of Learning and Development
The Head of Learning & Development will develop and implement the Learning Strategy and plans which will influence the strategic and operational plans of the organisation
Our client sits within the financial services sector and is based in the East Midlands with an office also in Europe. They are a family run SME with exciting plans ahead.
Designing, developing and supporting the execution of a learning and development roadmap to drive the capability building of our workforce and maintaining a fit for purpose learning curriculum that aligns with the future skills needed and which will make the biggest impact on driving individual, team and business performance
Embedding the company values into every aspect of L&D to really bring to life the culture
Partnering with the key areas across the business to ensure collaboration and effective working relationships are built
Identifying a dashboard of relevant metrics which will hold us accountable for driving performance and behaviours throughout the organisation
Ensuring that our approach to capability development contributes building a high-performance organisation and is aligned with our business objectives and growth ambitions
Designing, developing and implementing a framework to support leadership development including accelerating the development of high potential talent
Focusing on external trends and emerging practices within the learning and development field and identifying new ways to deliver learning across locations and remotely
Providing consultative support and thought leadership
Delivering high quality engaging communication in an integrated way with the Internal Comms team to ensure a joined-up approach to the business.
Investing in developing a coaching and mentoring approach throughout the business
The successful candidate will be an experienced Learning and Development professional who has the depth of knowledge to implement within a changing environment. You will understand the importance of technical training due to the nature of the company being Financial Services. You will be a strong leader and be comfortable influencing change and challenging managers were necessary!
