Learning and Development Consultant
Your new company
An organisation based in Glasgow, now requires a Learning and Development Consultant to join their business for a period of 6-9 months.
Your new role
The post holder will support the organisation with the delivery of content for users, identify and understand gaps as well as assist with the development of content with appropriate colleagues and content leads. You will support with the delivery strategy and operational initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- SCQF Level 9, Degree, VQ level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject or postgraduate/ professional qualification with relevant formal training.
- An up to date knowledge and understanding of pedagogy and theory related to the use and implementation of a range of learning technologies in the design of learning resources.
- A comprehensive understanding of practical issues related to technology-enhanced learning, including student and staff experiences, digital accessibility and learning design.
- Knowledge of the functionalities and effective use of Virtual Learning Environments (VLE).
- The ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising the strategically important and driving these through to completion, including time & project management.
- Proven and substantial experience of delivering successful support for technology enhanced learning, including assessment
- Experience of providing specialist advice and information relating to technology-enabled learning to a wide range of audiences with different levels of technological knowledge.
- Experience of developing technology-enhanced learning solutions and high-quality teaching and learning resources and other technologies.
- Experience of evaluating technologies and systems to understand fitness for purpose and practical applications.
