A leading independent law firm based in Central London are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join their team. Reporting into the HR Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Induction of new joiners
  • Conducting inductions for relevant client group new joiners
  • Spearheading any early difficulties or concerns in relation to the new joiner, liaising with relevant Line Manager or HR Management team member as required
  • Employee Correspondence
  • Producing letters and memos to employees as required
  • Attending employee relations meetings
  • Drafting scripts in preparation for employee relations meetings
  • Coordinating family leave process
  • Preparing pre and post family leave paperwork
  • Employee absence management and wellbeing
  • Monitoring on a monthly basis client group absence levels, analyzing trends, highlighting issues and concerns and making recommendations to HR Management team
  • Managing referral process to Occupational Health Advisers
  • Managing leaver processes
  • Arranging and conducting face to face exit interviews and working on actions with Management
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships and coordinating with other HR Advisor regular meetings
  • Acting as primary HR representative at committee meetings and taking forward any related actions from each meeting
  • Supporting annual HR budgeting exercise as required by the HR Director
  • Reviewing efficiency and usability of HR intranet and making recommendations for enhancements

As HR Advisor, you will possess:

  • Previous experience operating at HR Advisor or Senior HR Assistant
  • Previous experience in a legal or Professional Services HR team
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Strong education
