Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Salary: c£30,000 p/a depending on experience, plus excellent benefits package

We are the Institution of Structural Engineers- the world’s largest membership body dedicated to the art and science of structural engineering.

The Role

We’re currently looking for a new Resourcing and HR Advisor to join our HR team. This role would suit a highly organised and skilled administrator with experience of recruitment looking to progress their career within a professional membership body and not for profit organisation.

Using advanced digital and IT skills, you will take on full responsibility for all HR administration for the full employee life cycle, maintaining and improving the use of HR data and producing management information and metrics regularly. 

You will work closely with the rest of the HR team and hiring managers with end-to-end recruitment; championing direct hire methods and acting as a brand ambassador to really sell the Institution as a workplace for prospective applicants. With a passion to deliver excellent candidate experience, you will act as first point of contact for all candidates throughout the process. 

You should be comfortable working in a both a proactive and reactive environment and be able to effectively manage changing and competing priorities with minimal supervision.

To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:

- Experience of administration or management of recruitment campaigns

- Experience of general HR administration

- Assessing candidates via shortlisting and interviews

- Use of HRIS and ATS

- Strong technological knowhow

- Exceptional organisation skills

- A proactive approach to work and ability to use own initiative

- Excellent communication skills plus experience of drafting recruitment documentation

A 35-hour working week with flexi time, plus first-class benefits. This post is based in our London HQ and in the short term will involve a changing mix of office based and remote working as part of our phased response to Covid-19. Based on the edge of the city, our office is bright, modern and open plan.
