A growing provider of international business advisory and support servics is looking for an part time HR Manager three days per week. The HR manager will have a broad generalist remit and will bring varied HR experience to the organisation in order to set up and formalise core processes and offerings and longer term, to help grow the business in different locations around the world.


  • You will be responsible for all aspects of HR across the US and UK.
  • Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the founding Senior Manager, you will collaborate to provide pragmatic but best practice HR to the business
  • Work closely with HR colleagues within the parent company in the US and EMEA to ensure alignment with the wider business entities
  • Collaborative development of all HR strategies, activities and initiatives and be accountable for delivery and articulation of these for the local practices
  • Promote L&D within the different locations; organise and run training; manage any local or regional required professional development; proactively identify training needs and leveraging global L&D resources to provide appropriate training solutions
  • Benchmark, recommend and implement competitive benefits programs and compensation strategies
  • Accountable for the annual performance management and compensation review process, including close liaison with the wider HR team and Total Reward to ensure the activities align to global Firm objectives
  • Lead recruitment activities including sourcing, scheduling, and interviewing and onboarding candidates where required
  • Building employer brand presence via LinkedIn and other online platforms
  • Proactive coaching to and advising management on day to day employee issues, including the ability to provide appropriate challenge
  • Advising people managers on managing underperformance,
  • Managing complex employee relations matters, including keeping up to date with relevant local and regional employment law
  • Support expansion into the UAE and other locations as business dictates


  • Extensive HR generalist experience, preferably in a global organization
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law
  • A strong, collaborative communicator
  • Able to work across a matrix organisation as well as autonomously
  • Employee relations experience essential
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Motivation to continually look for and implement improvements
  • Business acumen and the ability to leverage financial metrics
  • Ideally part or fully CIPD qualified
